Lets get real people! Why do kids pick their noses? I have tried many different things to get little Lane to stop. I tried threatening him with punishment, telling him that his finger will fall off and my personal favorite that he is eating his brain. But to no avail. I guess I'll have to see if he grows out of it. I would feel like a failure as a mother if he was still picking his nose at the age of 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I just say my boys are the best! I am the proudest Mama in the world. Laney is the sweetest boy. He keeps us laughing all the time. Lane is so good to his little brother he is such a good example. I am so glad he is in our family. Ryan is so wild! He is into everything. I absolutely love that about him. He is so different from his brother, but that's what makes him so special. Ryan keeps me on my toes everyday. He is so sweet and is quite the Mamas boy. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has in trusted me with my two handsome boys.

Well, it was only time before the boys figured out that they could turn our family room into a giant bumper car track. They like to take their trucks and race them around into the kitchen and back into the living room again and again. Then one of two things happen, 1 someone starts to cry or 2 Dad gets sick of the noise and threatens to throw the trucks in the garabge. the boys will be boys and it's not long before Dad joins them on the floor for a full out wrestle mania!(Wrestle Mania pictures to come!)

It's homework time! Lane does a great job and is learning more everyday! I can't believe that they are teaching kids to do math and reading in kindergarten! When we were kids we spent our time eating paste and playing in the sandbox! We are so proud of our Laners!

Tonight Ryan was being a little nasty! So what did we decide to do? We threw him away ! Maybe the garbage man will want him?

The Marley's decided to jump on the blog band wagon and make a blog for our family and friends! We have compiled some of the fun things we have done together as a family this year. We are a work in progress so bare with us while we are trying to figure this out. We hope you enjoy! There will be more fun posts soon. love, Lane and Serena.

Lanes new years resolution

Last year Lane decided to set a new years resolution. He made a goal that he would run in the Aug "08" Pocatello 1/2 marathon. Lane worked so hard and ran in all the Poky fun runs that summer to prepare. Lane did awesome he is actually a natural runner. He ran the marathon in 2 hours 10 mins. This year he is going to run the full marathon. We are so proud of him.

A day out with Thomas!

Last may for Ryan's 2nd B-day we decided to take the boys to Heber City Ut to enjoy a day out with Thomas. Everyone knows how much our boys love Thomas and we thought this would be an awsome family memory for us and the boys. It was so fun there were activity's to do all day. Not to mention a fun train ride on Thomas.

Hill Air force base 2008!

We could not afford to go on a vacation this year so we decided to take our kids on some mini trips. This is us a Hill Air Force Base. They have a really neat museum there with tons of planes. The boys loved it. The best part of the trip is the museum was free. We plan to do it every year. It really made us appreciate all the men and women that have fought to keep us free.

Our Boys

These are our two wonderful boys with our christmas tree "Steve". About three years ago Lane decided to name our Christmas tree Steve. Since then evey year Santa will call Mom and Dad and let us know that he has dropped Steve off at the Fred Meyer in Pocatello. When Santa calls we gather get in the car and make the annual pilgramige to Fred Meyer. The boys start talking about how big steve has grown and how excited they are to find him amongst the other trees. Lane and Ryan will run around the tree lot yealling for Steve until Mom or Dad say, "Steve is that You?" Lane and Ryan will say, "yep thats our good buddy Steve" and give him a great big hug. Steve vacations 11 months out of the year in the North Pole with Santa and his reindeer until his great departure to the Marley Family home. Our boys truly bring the magic and spirit of Christmas to our home.
