Popcorn and Potter!

Had to get the new Potter movie.

Mom and boys enjoying the movie and licking our ring pops! All for one and one for all!Rubbish!

The boys and I have been planning a movie day for a while. When I woke up this morning to find it was snowing I said today is the day! Let's stay in our pajamas all day eat rubbish and watch Potter. I love the books and have read them to Laney this year. We love to read about Harry's adventures. Laney loves Potter so much that he was even Harry Potter for Halloween this year. Ahh a child after my own heart. Thank you J.k. for making good prevail over evil, for making it fun for kids and adults to read. And most of all thank you for giving my little boy a hero that wares glasses too!

We have had a wonderful Christmas this year! Here is a short synopsis of our month. Laney had a school Christmas program. Laney hates to sing. I was surprised that he actually sang this year. He is such a great kid! We also hosted Lane's Wells Fargo party at are house. It was alot of cooking (for me!) But it was alot of fun too. Lane works with great people. We have had a month full of fun family activities. Every Monday night in the month of December we get together with my family and have family home evening at each others homes. It was a blast getting together. We had a wonderful Christmas morning too. The boys were so excited. I love the magic Christmas brings. We are so grateful for the birth of our Lord and Savior. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas too! Merry Christmas!

Give Thanks To Steve!!!

Laney made this cute little pilgrim hat and collar at school. I thought it was so precious!

Daddy and boys on thanksgiving!
Mama and Boys!
Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together and give thanks. I love Thanksgiving because it's my holiday. We stay home and I cook for my little family. We love our families dearly but we really enjoy making our own traditions. We get to sit back relax and do whatever we want to. AHH bliss! I start cooking in the morning so we can have our dinner at 1:00p.m. The boys and I watch Christmas movies while I get the dinner ready. After dinner/lunch we pack up the kids and make our way to the movie theater. We had a great day. I am so thankful for my family! I'm so blessed.

Alright people this is what happens when you leave your husband home alone with a hot glue gun! I went to New Moon with my girlfriends a few weeks ago and when I came home my husband and boys were crafting. Yes ladies he had rhinestones and a hot glue gun in hand. Lane decided to make a Christmas star for the top of our house. It turned out pretty good. I'm proud of them! It looks great honey;)
Steve is here!!!!!
Steve had to meet Chuck-E-Cheese.
The boys dreaming about Christmas under Steve's branches.

Steve is here!!! For any of you who don't know who Steve is let me explain. When Laney was 3 he named our Christmas tree Steve. We don't know where it came from but he loved that tree. Every night before he went to bed he would hug Steve and kiss him. He would fall asleep underneath him. So every year Steve comes to our house and spends Christmas with us. Steve lives 11 months out of the year in the North Pole with Santa. Then the First week in December Santa sends us and E-mail letting us know that Steve will be dropped off at Fred Myer. We jump in the car and race to Fast Freddy's. The boys walk among the rows of trees yelling for Steve. When we find him we have to pay the rental fee;) After Christmas Steve gets on the Polar Express to get back to the North Pole. I love that my boys feel that magic. Do you remember feeling that way. I love to watch how sweet and pure they are. Welcome home Steve we love you!

I went to New Moon today and I must say it was awesome! They did a much better job on the film this time around. I guess the bigger budget helped. I still love you Edward!

It's begining to look alot like Christmas!

Lane hanging Christmas lights 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.
Lane had veteran's day off so I asked him to put up the Christmas lights. We live on a hill and our front lawn is like a ski hill. Our kids love to roll down it in the summer and sled down it in the winter. It was pretty funny watching Lane put up the lights. He couldn't get the latter to sit strait because of the slop of our lawn. He put a block on the bottom of the latter to keep the legs strait. It looked pretty sketchy. We were laughing the whole time about that scene in Christmas Vacation where Chevy Chase was hanging Christmas lights. He kept falling and went crazy when his lights didn't work. It was so fun. Thanks Lane I'm glad you survived!

We woke up to snow on Saturday! I love snow! The boys jumped out of bed and got all there gear on. Our front lawn and driveway made the perfect sledding hill. They had so much fun sledding and scraping our sidewalks the neighbors got there sidewalks done too. They usully get all there snow stuff on and play outside for 10 mins. But they were out for half the day. They had so much fun. And they loved the hot chocolate they got afterwords.

Me and the boys.
Our tie-dye creations.

We had a wonderful Halloween. Busy but wonderful. We went over to Lane's Grandparents house first where Great Grandma and Grandpa made and cute little spook ally for the boys. It was really fun. Then we went to Lane's parents house to show off the kids and eat some tasty chili. Last but not least we went over to my parents house to have more chili and take the kids trick or treating. We went with my brothers and my sister. It was so fun to go trick or treating together. The kids got a huge load of candy this year. AHHH I hate having the temptation in the house. Earlier in the week we tie-dyed Halloween shirts with the kids. Aren't they cute. They were so fun and the kids had a blast. I am so glad its over.
