Laney made this cute little pilgrim hat and collar at school. I thought it was so precious!

Daddy and boys on thanksgiving!

Mama and Boys!
Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together and give thanks. I love Thanksgiving because it's my holiday. We stay home and I cook for my little family. We love our families dearly but we really enjoy making our own traditions. We get to sit back relax and do whatever we want to. AHH bliss! I start cooking in the morning so we can have our dinner at 1:00p.m. The boys and I watch Christmas movies while I get the dinner ready. After dinner/lunch we pack up the kids and make our way to the movie theater. We had a great day. I am so thankful for my family! I'm so blessed.

Alright people this is what happens when you leave your husband home alone with a hot glue gun! I went to New Moon with my girlfriends a few weeks ago and when I came home my husband and boys were crafting. Yes ladies he had rhinestones and a hot glue gun in hand. Lane decided to make a Christmas star for the top of our house. It turned out pretty good. I'm proud of them! It looks great honey;)

Steve is here!!!!!

Steve had to meet Chuck-E-Cheese.

The boys dreaming about Christmas under Steve's branches.
Steve is here!!! For any of you who don't know who Steve is let me explain. When Laney was 3 he named our Christmas tree Steve. We don't know where it came from but he loved that tree. Every night before he went to bed he would hug Steve and kiss him. He would fall asleep underneath him. So every year Steve comes to our house and spends Christmas with us. Steve lives 11 months out of the year in the North Pole with Santa. Then the First week in December Santa sends us and E-mail letting us know that Steve will be dropped off at Fred Myer. We jump in the car and race to Fast Freddy's. The boys walk among the rows of trees yelling for Steve. When we find him we have to pay the rental fee;) After Christmas Steve gets on the Polar Express to get back to the North Pole. I love that my boys feel that magic. Do you remember feeling that way. I love to watch how sweet and pure they are. Welcome home Steve we love you!
So Lane-it appears that your great past manager "Matthew Stewart" had some of his creativity wear off on you!! LOL way to go my friend-looks great.-Matt
ReplyDeleteSo cute-love Steve. Oh and Lane crafting! I'm dying here. I agree with loving having your own traditions. Our first year in St. George it was us and Ry's bro and his wife. I think that was one of my most favorie Thanksgivings ever.
