September happenings!

I sent the boys into the bathroom to take a bath the other night. I could hear them laughing which is a surprise because they usually are fighting so I peeked my head in to see what they were doing , and this is what I found. Lane had decided that it would be fun to shaving cream his brother. It was so funny. Silly boys!

We took a little trip to Idaho Falls last weekend to feed the ducks and walk the green belt. We had a fun day together.

It's soccer season again. Lane is having fun playing soccer this year. He even got on the same team as his cousin Becka. They are so cute. Lane loves to look up at the sky, chase bugs and throw grass with the other boys on his team. It's fun to watch him be a kid. Go Laney!

Back to School!

When little Lane started Kindergarten I was heartbroken. I was a wreck for a month. I was constantly worried about him. I thought when he started 1st grade I would have to go through the same feelings all over again. Thankfully it has been a smooth transition this time. Lane is loving the 1st grade. He is doing well on all of his assignments and is loving 3 recesses a day. I am also enjoying the new freedom that I have. School started last Monday. Sunday night Lane was so excited to start school the next day. He picked out his outfit that he wanted to wear and laid it out on the end of his bed. He was ready! He went to bed that night with a smile on his face. 6:30 A.M. Monday morning little Lane comes into my room in tears! (MOM I JUST THROW-UP!!). O.k. so I'm thinking that he is just excited and a little nervous about starting school so we get really and I tell him to see how he feels when he gets to school and sees all of his friends. We get to school and Laney is as white as a sheet. I felt bad for him but I didn't want him to miss his first day! We left Laney in his class and went home. Fifteen mins later I get a call from the school secretary,(Serena Laney has gotten sick in class please come and get him.) So I jump in my car to get my poor little guy. I went into the class room and I could see the destruction on the floor next to his desk. The teacher told me he was in the bathroom. I dashed down the hall and found my 6 year old with puke all over him. Poor little guy tossed his cookies on his first day of first grade! Yes his is that kid. All the kids in his class will always remember when Lane Marley spewed. They'll talk about it in high school. Luckily it was only a 24 hr. bug. He went back to school the next day. He is doing great! Ryan also started school this year. He looks so little to me. Time flies! He is really loving pre-school and I'm sure he is giving his teacher a run for her money! He is a wild one! I get a whole four hours a week to myself! It is so lovely. AHHHH

Camping Marley style!

Watching movies on the tramp.
Ehhhh!!! FIRE!FIRE!!!
Mama and boys.

My boys have been asking all summer to sleep out on the tramp. For one reason or another it just didn't happen. Last week I was thinking about the fun summer we have had. When I realized we haven't slept out yet. I marked the calender for the last weekend before school. We roasted hot dogs made s'mores and watched Spongebob movies. (Yes I let my children watch Spongebob. Its pretty funny!) We were having so much fun watching the boys light up with excitement. When 10:00 p.m. rolled around we decided to call it a night. We laid there trying to sleep with all of us sinking to the middle of the tramp, Ryan jumping, and Laney afraid that an earwig was going to crawl into his ear and lay eggs in is brain. At 10:30 p.m. we were all inside sleeping in our beds. Well it was worth a try.

We had a busy week last week. Lane took the week off. We went swimming , to the zoo, to Yellowstone Park, lost teeth, had races, and had cousins sealed to our family. AHHHH .On Monday we took the kids to Ross park and swam with my family. It was tons of fun and the boys had a blast. Then on Tuesday we took off for Yellowstone. We try to do a day trip there once a year. We packed a picnic and took our time. We had a wonderful family day together. We even got suckered into buying $14.00 ice cream at Old Faithful. We got tons of yard work done during the middle of the week. My brother Ean came into town on Thursday. Friday my niece was baptized. She looked so cute in her dress. We are so proud of Samantha. Then on Saturday morning Lane and I had a race. That afternoon we headed up to Idaho Falls. My brother and sister in law had there 4 adopted kids sealed to them. They have adopted six kids altogether. Wow they are amazing!!!!!! At the end of the week we were so sad Lane had to go back to work. Oh ya I almost forgot, Lane lost his 5th tooth! A bucky that was driving him crazy! All in all it was a wonderful week.
