The kids had some friends over on St. Patricks day. They were hunting all over the yard hunting for leprechaun. I told them that I had seen a Leprechaun swinging on our swings and jumping on our tramp earlier in the day. They were so excited that they decided to make a trap. It was so cute to see how excited they were. ( Here is a pic of the kids building a leprechaun trap! =)

We had and awesome cheering section! We had tons of support from our family! We were so surprised. Laney felt so special!

Laney had his first official Pinewood Derby the other night! He was so excited Laney worked on his derby for weeks with his Dad. We had lots of fun watching Laney race. He won an award for best truck design. Way to go Laney!

Spring Fever!

It was beautiful in Pocatello this weekend. We had to get out and enjoy the sunshine. We dusted off the scooters and went to the AMI trail head to breath in the cool fresh air. It was the type of day that you want to pull out your bikes get your hands in the dirt and wash the car. It felt so good to feel the sun on my face! I love winter but I am totally ready for spring!

Officially in my second trimester!.......

That's right folks it's official I'm in my second trimester of pregnancy! It's been 5 years since I was pregnant last so everything feels new and unfamiliar. But so far I've had a wonderful time! The other day I crawled under the stairs searching for my maternity clothes. When I opened that box I was shocked that they were so out dated. They weren't that bad in my head. So today we went up to Idaho Falls to do a little shopping. I'm growing out of my regular clothes but I'm too small for maternity clothes.(Blast that in between phase!) I found some cute stuff that I can start wearing now, that will also grow with me as I get bigger. AHHHH It's nice to be able to breath in my jeans! I love you maternity pants! ;) We ran all over today and the boys were perfect angles! I love my little men! I'm so blessed to have such wonderful boys to raise. I have to admit they are super easy. Thank you lord! I have another Dr. Appointment on March 10th. I can't wait! The only thing I hate about it is when they take my weight! Yuck-O! Really they do that to torture us. It's a reminder of just how much weight we have to lose after the baby. But I don't care. I've had two children and I know I get huge. (No rose colored glasses here!)

I went to the Dr. yesterday we got to hear our sweet little baby's heartbeat for the first time. It was so exciting. The Dr. said that everything looked good except he said I was measuring two weeks smaller then I was supposed to. So this morning he sent me to get an ultrasound to see what my real due date was. I've been told that it was the 22nd of Aug, the 23rd of Aug, and the 5th of Sept. So I was glad to find out what my real due date was, and to check on my little baby too! They told me everything looked good so far that that I am measuring right on schedule! I'm due the 25th of Aug! I have not aloud myself to get too excited but when I saw that sweet little baby in there I just fell in love. We are so grateful to Heavenly Father for sending us this sweet little blessing.

More Craziness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been feeling way over scheduled. We have something going on everyday. Now don't get me wrong. I love being busy I thrive on it but lately I feel like I'm stretching myself a little thin. We have carpools, scouts, tutors, play dates, meetings, dinners, Homework, school, church callings, etc........................ Wow I'm pooped at the end of the day. Blame it on the hormones I guess. So today was just a crazy day at church. Ryan would not sit with his class. He kept wiggling and being naughty. I had to sit with him during sharing time. This was hard to do because I am so busy during primary that I got nothing done today that I wanted. Then after church we couldn't find Ryan anywhere. I was totally panicking!!!!!!!! We looked in all the classrooms, on the stage, in every hall , in the bathrooms. I asked everyone I knew if they had seen Ryan. (No one had!!!!) I was freaking out then all of a sudden my friend brings me my Ryan. Relief washed over me. I wanted to cry right there. Yep it was one of those Sundays. Sorry to anyone in the ward who I might have been short with.............I was worried ;/ I don't know if I'm ready for a new week. Can I do this week over again? What am I saying! No lets not do this week again ;) I'm going to try really hard to simplify my life this week! I can't wait! Stay tuned for more craziness!

Tales from a crazy pregnant woman!

OK! I know! I haven't been blogging as much as I would like too. But I'm going to make it a goal to blog more often. So I went to my first Dr. appointment and it went really well. But the bad news is they pushed my due date from the 23rd of August to the 5th of Sept! I think they made a mistake. I have calculated it 4 times on different websites, and they all say the 22 or 23rd. ;) I guess we will see. So far no morning sickness at all. I never got sick with my boys either. I feel the same, so I'm about 98% sure it's a boy. Now to all you people who get sick when your preggers I'm sorry I'm sure it is awful! And I know what your thinking I suck because I don't get sick. But I'm here to tell you I've already gained 6lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that sucks! I've only had one melt down so far too. The other day I had a major mood swing attack! Lane was running to the store to pick-up some milk. I really wanted a candy bar and soda. I asked him to get me a treat and drink. What did my sweet husband come home with? 100 calorie gram crackers and diet welches juice! I was so sad I wanted to cry (no really I felt the tears coming!) and throw the crackers at him.( I really wanted to knock him out with those 100 calorie crackers!) I didn't eat any in protest. I know crazy! The next morning I gave him a big hug and told him sorry for the psycho behavior the night before. I felt a little sheepish ; / Any way I have another Dr. appointment on the 10th of Feb. We are beyond excited about this baby! I have to admit now that it's happening I'm kind of scared. It's like we are starting all over again. But we are ready..... I think........... ;) So stay tuned for more crazy pregnant woman adventures from me. I'm sure things will get crazier!

Christmas a little late ; )

With all the excitement of the baby over Christmas I totally forgot to blog about Christmas. We had a wonderful simple Christmas. The boys were full of magic this year. We had an awesome time with family and friends. I can't believe how blessed we have been. We are looking forward to an exciting and eventful year this year. Happy New Year!
