RMS Titanic

Laney drew this picture of the Titanic a few weeks ago.

Our little Lane has been interested in the Titanic ever since he was about 4. When we found out about the Titanic exhibit at the Museum of Idaho we had to make a special trip. It was really interesting and family friendly. I highly suggest checking it out. Whenever we go to a museum we always buy a book. Lane picked out a book full of facts about the famous ship. We had an awesome family day together.

Laney Granduates From Kindergarten!

Family picture at Lane's graduation.
Here is lane with his diploma.
Lane walking the isle.
Lane being bored. He hates to sing it makes him super uncomfortable.
Oh yes we have a kindergarten graduate. It seems like only yesterday I was taking him to his first day of school. The kindergarten put on an awesome little program. Lane hates to sing. As you can see he pretty much just stood there the whole time. Ya he was bored. I have to give props to his teacher Mary Spiker. She is an amazing teacher. I have never met anyone quite like her. She made scrapbooks for each child in her classes. They had over one hundred pages in each book. She was wonderful, she went above and beyond. She also was diagnosed with breast cancer in the middle of the year. It didn't matter how tired she was after chemo treatments she was always there the next day with a smile. Laney had a great year. I am so happy that summer is here. We are proud of our Laners.

This is Lane's end of the year party. They made matching ti dye shirts for the occasion. The party had an Idaho history theme. The kids each got a cowboy hat and scarf to ware. They had little stations that they went to. One had mining for gold and each child got a bag of fools gold as a prize. And at the next station they got to make necklaces with Indian arrow heads . And last but not least they got pony rides. It was a fun afternoon for all the kids.

A busy day!!!!! (Grandma turns 50!)

Holy smokes I have cute boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Lane working on the flowerbed.
The boys playing with Dad in the flowerbed.
Lane and I bought this house in November and the yard needed some T.L.C. Lane loves yard work and had to wait all winter to get his hands in the dirt. The flowerbed in the front yard was non-existent so we added the rock to the front of the house. What do ya think. We haven't gotten the flowers in yet that's next on the to do list.

Lane's Mom turned 50 today. I think she looks fabulous. My father-in-law works in Las Vegas and during the summer my mother-in-law lives down there too. So for her birthday we had a shirt made for her that said (Someone in Idaho loves me). Below we put a picture of the boys. After we had it made we had to make one for Grandpa too. Happy birthday Mama J!!!

Ryan found the sharpie!!!!!!!!

I can honestly say that in the six and a half years that I've been a mother that I have never had to encounter this!!! Ryan got a hold of one of our sharpie markers. He was happily doing his artwork on my laundry room wall. I always encourage my children to be artistic and have imaginations but this takes the cake. Daddy is going to freak when he gets home tonight. The picture above is Ryan in time out. As you can see he is pretty proud of himself. That little s#@t!!! I love him.
Ryan's artwork. I'm just glad it's in the laundry room were we can hide it.
