Last year for my Birthday my friends Tiffany and Annie got us tickets for the Celine Dion concert. I was pumped to go on a girls weekend with my friends. The concert was scheduled for the 21st of November. Three days before the show Celine postponed her concert due to illness. We were all really disappointed but it was also a blessing for me because we had just moved into our new house and life was crazy. It was rescheduled for 22nd of February. So we packed our bags and headed for Salt Lake on Sunday. Tiffany had shirts made for us complete with Celine's name written in gold letters across it. Can I just say that Celine Dion was amazing. That woman has a set of pipes! She was so gorgeous and her show was awesome. You can really tell that she truly loves what she does. Thanks Tiff and Annie for such a wonderful Birthday gift!!!

I Love You!!!!!!!!!!!

I Love Lane I am so grateful that he is my husband. I am so proud of him and glad that he is my Valentine. It's been the best 7 1/2 years of my life. He has been the best husband and father that any one could have asked for. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. He is my best Friend. We have such a close relationship that gets stronger everyday. Happy hearts day Lane I love you!!!!

A sad day!

Last Wednesday morning was a topical morning at the Marley's. I was folding laundry in my room while Little Lane and Ryan were playing before Laney went to school. (Ryan is the sweetest little boy but he has a temper. If things don't go his was he lets you know.) Laney went into the bathroom that morning to take care of business and in typical Ryan fashion he was crying at the door because he wanted to be with Laney. Ryan does this every time someone goes into the restroom. So I just ignored the usual cries. Two minutes later when Laney came out of the bathroom Ryan came running up to me with a smashed finger. I was sick I felt awful and scared I couldn't help but scream when I saw his little mangled finger. Laney was fit to be tide that he accidentally shut the door on Ryan's finger. The sad thing was that the door was totally closed!!!!!!!!!! I thought for sure that Ryan's finger was broken. I was in tears, Ryan was screaming in pain and Laney was hyperventilating. I called Lane at the bank and tried to tell him that there had been an accident with Ryan but he couldn't understand me. Lane was home in a flash and called the Dr. office to see if we needed to have and X-ray. They had us come in and luckily there was no brake. Ryan is OK and so is Laney. Ryan was so tired after that he slept all day. Laney got to stay home from school and have a mommy day. So moms never ignore the usual cries because someday it might be a real emergency.

Latest addition!!!!!

Meet the newest member of the Marley household!!!!!!!!! This is Chuck-E-Cheese! Now everyone knows that Lane and I are not animal people at all. Lane is pretty allergic to animals and so a dog or cat was totally out of the question. Little Lane has been begging for some kind of pet for years. Last week Little Lane said Mom I know what kind of pet I can get that has no fur and doesn't pee or poop in the yard. His reply was pathetic. (a pet rock)! How sad is that. So after much consideration Lane and I took Little Lane and Ryan to the pet store to pick out a hamster. The funny thing was that as soon as we walked into the store Little Lane started gaging from the smell of the pet store. I thought he was going to blow chunks all over the place. Luckily we were able to compose ourselves and pick out good old Chuck. I have to admit that Lane and I are totally freaked out by the little creature. Neither one of us will pick him up with out gloves on. I actually have not gotten up the courage to hold him yet.

Lane and Serena
