She is here!

I'm so in love! Ella is 11 days old and I'm sad that she is growing up to fast already ;( It feels like she has always been been here. My labor was the easiest so far. I was induced and when they went to break my water it was already broken. I would have gone in to labor on my own anyway. I had no idea that it was broken. They started me on pitocion at 1 a.m. and by 4:20a.m. she was in my arms. It was pretty fast ;) It's a totally different feeling having a girl. We have been in boy mode for almost 9 years. It's so fun dressing her up and painting her toes. I love it! It's fun watching my husband with her. He is so soft and gentle with her. He even lets her sleep with us. He would never let the boys do that ;) The boys love her so much. They never leave her alone. She is so sweet and cute we never put her down. We have had so much love and support from or friends and family. I'm truly humbled by all the love, meals , gifts, and well wishes people have given us. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father sent her to us. She was so worth the wait. We cant imagine life with out her.

Preparing for baby

We have been very busy preparing for Ella's arrival. We moved Laney downstairs and decorated his new room. It turned out so awesome. Orange is his favorite color and I made sure that kid had an orange wall. Ryan moved to Laney's old room. He Loves Lighting McQueen and the color red. So We gave him a red wall and made sure he had plenty of Lighting stickers to decorate with. Next came Ella's room. I wanted it to be pink. This might be my only daughter so I had to go all out. Lane painted two walls pink and two walls off white. It turned out so cute, and it's very pink just like I like it! The boys were so excited to help there Dad put up her crib. We were ready to go except one thing. We needed a dresser for her. We looked all over for weeks at all the thrift stores and yard sales with no luck. Finally last week one of Lanes old employees came into the bank and told Lane that she was moving and had a dresser if we wanted it. He told her yes and that we would be by to pick it up. I couldn't believe our luck! Lane brought it home and started on it right away. We decided that we wanted to do it in the shabby chic style. It turned out beautiful! What a blessing that we were able to get that dresser. It only cast us 35 dollars in materials to refinish it. The lords hand is in everything. Including a dresser. We are now officially ready for this baby. I only have four weeks left and I have mixed emotions right now. I can't wait to hold my sweet baby and kiss her little face. But I have really enjoyed carrying her this last 9 months. I love feeling her kick and roll inside of me. I hope we are able to have more children someday. But if we aren't I can truly say that I have fully enjoyed this pregnancy. I'm so thankful! 29 Days! We will keep you posted!

Cravings! (pickles and ice cream)

One of the fun side effects of being pregnant is that you get weird cravings. On all the movies and T.v. shows its pickles and ice cream. Mine have veryed in there weirdness. With Laney I craved
root beer Popsicles and Chinese. I wanted egg rolls for every meal of the day. When I was pregnant with Ryan I craved milk and Chinese, but with both my boys I craved dirt! Yes that's right dirt. I would walk past a freshly watered flower bed and I would wish that I was rolling around in it. One day I was washing some potatoes for dinner and I actually licked a dirty potato! I thought I was going crazy until my mom told me that she craved Ajax cleanser with my sister. Maybe that's why my sister is so weird ;)J/k! With this pregnancy I've had totally different cravings. At first I wanted cake. I love cake but this was an obsession! I would think about it all the time. Dream about it. Then I moved on to inventing weird food combo's in my head. My favorite was a crab meat and donut sandwich. I never tryed that one ;) And the other day I fantasied about eating cement. Now ice has come into my life and I'm in love! I've eaten 30lbs of ice in the past 2 1/2 weeks. Chomp chomp chomp!!!!! I'm slowly driving my husband crazy with all the munching. When I eat my ice I have to have a big cup and a spoon so my fingers don't freeze. I'm in love with ice! I think this one is here to stay. What were your cravings?

We spoiled him with lots of attention and gifts. We love our Daddy so much. I couldn't have asked for a better Father to my children. Lane is an amazing man. We are so blessed to have him. My Girlfriends Tiffany, Annie, and Anna had a baby shower for me. I have been blessed with wonderful friends who lift me up and support me. I'm so grateful to have them in my life. The shower was lots of fun and I had so much support from my friends and family. Ella got some wonderful gifts. Thank you to all who came. I'm humbled by all the love and support. We also couldn't let the month go by with out June bug hunting. We always take the boys out and hunt for those buzzing little Beatles. We have so much fun playing with our boys. With the arrival of Ella in 2 short months we moved Laney downstairs. I was really worried about having him down there all alone. But to our surprise he loves it! He calls it his ( Man cave)! Bless him! We all so had some friends from Norway visit us. We took them to Ross Park and to the zoo in Idaho Falls. We had a wonderful time. It was fun listening to Lane speak Norwegian. Thanks for visiting Beate, Lukas ,and Oliver! We enjoyed having you here! And last but not least Laney chose to play Football this summer. He really loves it. It's so fun to watch him get out there and play! I love him so much! What a wonderful 8 yr. old boy I have. Baby news is that I'm measuring 1 week ahead. The baby is healthy and strong, and I feel awesome. I've really tryed to enjoy every min of this pregnancy. I have two months left. We are going to move Ryan into Laney's old room and then we can get started on Ella's room. We have so much to do and not much time to do it in. But we are so happy and excited! We will keep you posted!

Sorry some of my pictures are sideways! This has never happened to me before. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know ;) Well It has been a busy couple of weeks for the Marley's. We have had something going on every night of the week. May is a big month for our family, its really big for our little Bubba Ryan. Ryan turned 5 on the 16th, played soccer with his Dad, and graduated from pre-school on the 21st. Ryan has been the center of attention all mouth. He had a fun little party with his buddies from church. He informed me that it had to be a boys only party. So we had all the little boys from his primary class over for cake and ice cream. They also painted and I made them a little movie theater in our family room. We had so much fun! Ryan also graduated from pre-school. I must say he was the cutest kid graduating ;) He did a great job on all his little parts. My favorite part of the whole night was when Ryan was asked to rhyme the word wink. He stood up there and sighed and said I don't know! It was funny and cute! Ryan also played soccer this year. Lane coached his team. Ryan loved having his Daddy be coach! He had so much fun and kicked butt! We love our Ryan! He is so silly we love him to pieces!

A few thoughts on Motherhood.

I've always known that I wanted children. When Lane and I got married we started our family immediately. I knew that a little spirit was ready to come to earth. When I held Laney in my arms for the first time I felt instant love. He was wide awake after he was born. He had the most sparkly eyes I have ever seen. I felt like this little baby could see though me, straight to my soul. It was almost like he was older then me. Like his spirit was old. It has been such an honor to be his Mom. When we decided to have Ryan I got pregnant really fast. I knew that he was ready to come to earth. When I was newly pregnant with him I was having a lot of painful cramping. I was really worried that I was going to lose him. I asked my husband to give me a blessing. In his blessing he told me that this child would be healthy and strong. That he was a warrior. I knew from that point that I was having a boy. I didn't need an ultrasound to tell me that. After Ryan was born he was so bruised and beat up. He fought his way into the world. My Little warrior was here. Ryan has been such a comfort in my life. It has been so wonderful being his Mom. My boys are my world! I love them so much. I can't describe the instant bond that I had with both of them. I can't wait to add little Ella to our family. I'm patiently waiting to hold that sweet little angel in my arms. I'm so grateful Father in Heaven has blessed me with children. It's the greatest calling I've ever had.

A Royal Wedding!

OK I'm totally waking up at 4a.m. to watch this. I know some of you are asking yourself why? Why do you care? Well the answer is because I'm interested in it. I've always been fascinated with the Royal's. I've read several books about Princess Diana and I was in love with William when he was a teenager. Plus why not. Look at all the awful things happening in the world today. It's kind of fun to enjoy some happy news! This week there are all kinds of specials on T.v. about the wedding and royal family. I can't wait! Maybe there will be a royal baby in the next few years........... Well one can only dream ;) So if you need me on Friday the 29th of April forget it! I'm busy all day! ;)
